Rachel O’Sheal

Rachel Bryant O’Sheal, 83, died Saturday, July 19, 2008.

A native of Hart County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Noah and Viola Johnson Allen. She was retired from Reliance Electric and was a member of Joy Baptist Church. Mrs. O’Sheal was preceded in death by her husband and the father of her children, Clarence Bryant Sr.; her second husband, Glenn O’Sheal; and a son, Clarence Bryant Jr.

Survivors include children, Ellen Griggs, Athens, and Tommy Bryant, Lexington; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday, July 21, in the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery in Union Point.

Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, East, Athens, was in charge of arrangements.
