MAYSVILLE – Connie Jean Philyaw Seay, 69, died Saturday, July 3, 2010, at her residence.
Born in Hall County, she was the daughter of the late Terrell Lamar (T.L.) and Willie Mae Godfrey Philyaw. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Seay was preceded in death by a sister, Lena Harper Powell.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Seay, Maysville; daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Junior David, Lynn and Billy Smith and Sandra Elrod and Danny Robertson, all of Maysville; sisters, Mary Martin, Gainesville and Peggy Jarrett, Gillsville; grandchildren, Chris and Christy Heath, Sheri and Tommy Sorrow, Zack and Jodie Smith, Hannah Smith, Ben Elrod, Clayton and Adrienne David; great-grandchildren, Hunter Heath, Kynlee Griffin and Kelden Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, July 5, from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Revs. Tommy Seay, Swayne Carlan and Darrell Gilmer officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery.
