ILA – Jimmy David Collins Sr., 58, died Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at his residence.
Born in Fulton County, he was the son of the late Jimmy Hamilton and Barbara Anne McGinnis Collins. He was employed by White Cap.
Survivors include sons, Todd Collins, Commerce, and David “Pee Wee” Collins Jr., Dalton; a brother, Jay Collins, Atlanta; sister, Renee Scoggins, Nicholson; five grandchildren; and grandfather, Charles Collins, Commerce.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 3, at 11 a.m., from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9 to 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the David Collins Memorial Fund, c/o First Georgia Bank, 573 S. Elm St., Commerce, GA 30529.
