GAINESVILLE – Geneva Carolyn (Cooley) Wineinger, 75, died Thursday, July 1, 2010, at New Horizon West Nursing Home in Gainesville, following an extended illness.
Born in Junction City, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Howard Frank and Delitha Ann (Campbell) Cooley. She was a member of McEver Road Baptist Church. Mrs. Wineinger was preceded in death by brothers, Donald Cooley, Alvin Cooley and James Cooley.
Survivors include her loving husband, Gale Wineinger, Gainesville; a daughter, Kimberly Martin, Gainesville; grandchildren, Brandon Wineinger, Jessica Martin and Jordan Martin; great-grandchild, Aaron Wineinger; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Inez Cooley, Indianapolis, Ind., and Randall and Juanita Cooley, Hopkinsville, Ky.; sisters, Norma Jean Robertson, Kokomo, Ind., and Juanita Raynes, Junction City, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 3, at 11 a.m., from the chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with Pastor Rod Bell Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park South Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, July 2, from 6 to 8 p.m.
