MAULDIN, S.C. – Patricia Ann House Bowles Azbell, 54, formerly of Commerce, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at her residence.
Born in Athens, she was the daughter of Eugene “Gene” House of Nicholson and the late Annie Lee Brown House. She was of the Baptist denomination and worked for Wal-Mart Distribution.
Survivors in addition to her father include her husband, Tim Azbell, Mauldin, S.C.; daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Josh Ervin, Homer; sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Tiffany Bowles, Salem, Ariz., and Nicholas and Maria Bowles, Ft. Drum, N.Y.; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Doris House, Nicholson; sister and brother-in-law, Christine and Raymond Thomas, Danielsville; sisters, Jeannie Strickland (Jerry Arnold), Auburn, and Karen Thomas (Jammy Porterfield), Danielsville; first husband, Steve Bowles Sr., Salem, Ariz.; grandchildren, A.J. Bowles, Ft. Drum, N.Y., and Caitlyn Bowles, Salem, Ariz.; several nieces and nephews; and loving family and friends that cared for her during her time of need.
Memorial services will be held Friday, July 2, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Hillman Martin officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, July 2, from 12 to 2 p.m.
