ROYSTON – Dorothy “Dot” Cheek Hall, 92, died Monday, June 28, 2010, at her residence.
Born in Madison County on June 21, 1918, she was the daughter of the late William Henry and Quilla Ione Vaughn Cheek. She worked in retail sales and was a member of the New Bethel Holiness Church. Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by brothers, William Cheek and Ben Cheek; and sisters, Floy Vaughn, Eunice Moon and Faye Cheek.
Survivors include her husband, Watson Hall, Royston.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 1, at 11 a.m., from the chapel of Pruitt Funeral Home with the Revs. Dennis Kesler and James Gunn officiating. Burial will be in the New Bethel Holiness Church Cemetery.
The body is at the funeral home where the family will receive friends Wednesday, June 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. The family is at home.
