JEFFERSON – Darlene I. Bryant, 85, died Friday, June 25, 2010.

Born June 23, 1925 in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late John Nicholas and Mattie Phillips Irvin. She was a retired seamstress and was a member of White Plains Baptist Church. Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death by her husband, Lillious Bryant.

Survivors include her son, Robert Bryant, Jefferson, stepson, Sayral Bryant, Winder; one grandson, two step-granddaughters, four step-great-grandchildren and one step-great-great-grandson.

Funeral services were held Sunday, June 27, in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Mr. Jeffrey Bell officiating. Burial was in the White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery.

Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, was in charge of arrangements.
