‘C.T.’ Fitzpatrick

COMMERCE – Cyril Thomas “C.T.” Fitzpatrick, 80, died Saturday, June 19, 2010.

Born in Belfast, Ireland, he was the son of the late Peter and Margaret Matthews Fitzpatrick. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and was a retired manager with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Evelyn Fitzpatrick, Commerce; daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Stacy Blanton, Jefferson, Mary and David Doran, Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Ryan and Shannon Blanton and Stephanie, Kevin and Caitlin Doran; and nephews, Stephen and Joseph Fitzpatrick.

Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, June 22, at 2 p.m., from the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Athens, with Father David McGinnis the Celebrant. Burial will be in Evans Memory Gardens in Jefferson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, April 21, between the hours of 6 and 9 p.m.
