HOMER - Douglas Lamar Sudderth, 51, died Sunday, June 13, 2010, at his residence.
Born in Hall County on February 14, 1959, he was the son of Troy and Barbara Buffington Sudderth of Homer. He was formerly employed with Magnolia Window and Door Company and was a member of the Metro Baptist Church. Mr. Sudderth was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and will be greatly missed by all loved ones stated. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Lynn Sudderth.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his loving wife of 21 years, Diane McCoy Sudderth, Homer; a son, Brian Lamar Sudderth, Homer; step-daughter, Janice Griffin, Buford; grandson, Hunter Kade Sudderth, Homer; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 16, at 2 p.m., from Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, with the Rev. Wayne Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in the White Hall Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, June 15, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
