James Timothy ‘Tim’ McDaniel, 47, passed away Friday, May 21, 2010.
Born June 21, 1962, he was a lifelong resident of Barrow County and was preceded in death by his father, Bennie Jack McDaniel; mother, Shirley Mae McDaniel; and brother, Smokey Joe McDaniel.
Tim was a loving husband and father and will be missed terribly. He was also a great friend and was liked by all who knew him. Tim was an avid NASCAR fan, loved to ride his Harley, fish, hunt and go camping.
Survivors include his wife, Rita Dale McDaniel; son James Steven McDaniel; mother-in-law, Myran Lewis; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 12, at 4 p.m. at Union Baptist Church, 527 Union Church Rd., Winder, GA 30680. Pastor Ed Strickland will officiate.

i hate to hear this my brother goes to boyscouts with his cripled son i fel so bad his son stood up and said a great speech to his dad ina greatfully plae in heaen peace will come to tim mcdaniel love you
