Myron Chapman

JEFFERSON – Myron Ray Chapman, 68, died Saturday, June 5, 2010.

Born in Hoschton on October 19, 1941, he was the son of the late George Herman and Johnie Lois Bradberry Chapman. Mr. Chapman was retired from the U.S. Post Office in Athens where he was Director of Mail Processing and was a veteran having served in the United States Navy.

Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Matthew and Katie Chapman, Cumming, and Chris and Kim Chapman, Jefferson; friend, Sherrie B. Floyd, Jefferson; brother, Mack Chapman, Athens; and grandchildren, Dustin and Hanna Chapman.

Memorial services were held Monday, June 7, in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. William Whitfield officiating.

Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, was in charge of arrangements.
