JEFFERSON – Jaylyn Jay Anton, 70, died Saturday, May 29, 2010.
Born in Athens, she was the daughter of Bernice Thomas Anglin of Jacksonville, Fla., and the late Bill Anglin. She worked as an insurance biller in the medical field and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Mrs. Anton was preceded in death by her brother, Thurmond Anglin.
Survivors in addition to her mother include her husband, William Anton, Jefferson; sons and daughters-in-law, Marcus and Carolyn Mason, Jefferson, Bill and Carol Anton, Senatobia, Miss., Billy and Latricia Anton, Longview, Texas, Greg and Jennifer Anton, South Haven, Miss., Kenny Anton, Norman, Okla.; daughter and son-in-law, Kris and Bolling DuBose, Jefferson; brothers and sisters, Dena Adams, Harriett Smith, Sandra Davis, Barbara Jasinski, Donald Anglin and Michael Anglin; and 18 grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Sunday, May 30, at Evans Memory Gardens, Jefferson, with the Rev. Keith Cudd officiating.
Memorials may be made in honor of Mrs. Anton at P.O. Box 234, Jefferson, GA 30549.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, was in charge of arrangements.
