MONROE - Timothy Gene Peppers Sr., 49, died Tuesday, May 25, 2010.

Born in Fulton County, he was the son of Willie Joe Peppers and Betty Stowe Peppers, both of Monroe. Mr. Peppers was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Joe Peppers.

Survivors in addition to his parents include a son and daughter-in-law, Timothy Peppers Jr. and Emma Lou Peppers, Monroe; and a sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Michael Everett, Covington.

Services will be held at a later date. Following the services, the body will be cremated. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, May 27, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1684 Barnett Shoals Road, Athens, GA 30605.

Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
