BUFORD – Joseph Wright, 74, died Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville following a brief illness.
Born on September 7, 1935, in Jefferson, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Nora Strickland Wright. He was the founder and owner of Camper City RV Dealership in Buford and he previously owned Wright’s Auto Mart in Oakwood.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Jo Wright, Buford; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Sarah Wright, Flowery Branch; daughter and son-in-law, Michele and Chuck Cancilla, Buford; grandchildren, Jessica Yaun, Benjamin Wright, Christina Bourne and Cayla Cancilla; one great-grandchild, Gabriel Yaun; brother, B.L. Wright, Royston; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 29, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Wright officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, May 27, and Friday, May 28, from 4 to 6 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1101-1 North Chase Pkwy., SE, Marietta, GA 30067.
Memorial Park Cemetery, Gainesville, is in charge of arrangements.
