FLOWERY BRANCH – Franklin Delenor Morrow, 69, went to live with our Heavenly Father Thursday, May 20, 2010.
Born on November 18, 1940, in Hall County, he was the son of the late Jewell Thomas and Flora Bell Carlisle Morrow. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, loved ones stated. He graduated from South Hall High School in 1960 and served two years in the United States Army. He was retired from Lockheed Martin after 32 years of service. Mr. Morrow was preceded in death by a son, Lanier Delenor Morrow; brothers, Charles, Harry, James and Carlton Morrow.
Survivors include his wife, Emma Jean Byrd Morrow, Flowery Branch; daughter and son-in-law, Jeannie and Clyde Grindle, Cleveland; son, Neil Morrow, Flowery Branch; brothers and sister-in-law, Bonnie and Sue Morrow, Flowery Branch, Eli Morrow, Gainesville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 23, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with the Revs. Sylvester Ridings and Richard “Rick” Riley officiating. Burial will be in Flowery Branch City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, May 22, from to 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
