COMMERCE – Maulene McConnell Carlan Perry, 76, died Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Winder Healthcare and Rehab.
Born in Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Etta Jane Hill McConnell. She was a floral designer and of the Methodist denomination. Mrs. Perry was preceded in death by her husband, Dick Perry; and brother, Ernest McConnell.
Survivors include her sons, Steve Carlan and Stuart Perry, both of Commerce; sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Pittman Lord, Gainesville; and grandson, Eli Carlan, Commerce.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 21, from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. David Sharpton officiating. Burial will follow in Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday, May 20, from 6 to 8 p.m.
