MAYSVILLE – Lucy Davidson Garrett, 101, died Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at BJC Nursing Home, Commerce.
Born in Hall County, she was the daughter of the late William Andrew and Mary Elizabeth Porter Davidson. She was a member of Maysville United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. Mrs. Garrett was preceded in death by her husband, Methel L. Garrett.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth and Thomas Kent, Maysville and Evelyn and Charles Morrison, Commerce; and son and daughter-in-law, Talmadge L. and Vivian Garrett.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, May 20, at the Center Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Morrison officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from noon until 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements
