HOSCHTON – Lola Bell Gaddis Stinchcomb, 89, died Monday, May 17, 2010.
Born in Barrow County, she was the daughter of the late Marlin and Onie Gaddis. She was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church and attended Hoschton Church of God of Prophecy. She worked hard all of her life as a mother, homemaker and also worked on the farm, loved ones stated. Mrs. Stinchcomb was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Stinchcomb; a son, R.B. Stinchcomb; and grandson, Jeff Clark.
Survivors include sons, Bud Stinchcomb and Charles Stinchcomb, both of Hoschton; daughters, Johnnie Cole, Auburn, Martha Bartlett, Braselton, Sybil Clark, Hoschton, Cathy Greeson and Jackie Sims, both of Winder; brother, J.C. Gaddis, Cleveland, Tenn.; sister, Viola Cronic, Hoschton; 17 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 20, at 2 p.m. from the Smith Memory Chapel with the Revs. Thomas Holmes and Richard Cole officiating. Burial will be in Hoschton City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 19 at the funeral home.
