Arnold Sanders

HULL – Arnold N. Sanders, 91, died Monday, May 17, 2010.

Born in Hull, he was the son of the late James E. and Ruby Brown Sanders. He was an auto mechanic, retired from Patton Brothers Automotive and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Sanders was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Lizzie Sorrow Sanders; son-in-law, Holman Brown and grandson, Byron Brown.

Survivors include a daughter, Betty S. Brown, Hull; granddaughter, Meliss and Andy Correll, Hull; great-grandchildren, Morgan Power, Joshua Power, Bryce Correll and Owen Correll; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 19, at 11:30 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jonathan Tolbert officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Flowers are accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 2227 Diamond Hill Neese Road, Hull, GA 30646-3015.

Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, Madison Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
