ATHENS – Albert Eugene Archer, 80, died Sunday, May 16, 2010.
A native of Jackson County, he was the son of the late Samuel Albert and Fannie Ammons Archer.
Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Irene and Clifford Hill, Athens; niece, Louise Hill, Athens; aunt, Majorie C. Ammons, Hartwell and several cousins.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, May 17, at the Attica Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Dayton Logan officiating. The family is at the residence of Louise Hill, Athens and will receive friends in the Church Fellowship Hall following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Attica Baptist Church Building Fund, 4352 Lebanon Church Rd., Athens, GA 30607.
