ROYSTON – James “Jaime” Allen Carmichael III, 21, died Friday, May 14, 2010.
Born in Waycross on October 31, 1988, he was the son of the Rev. Allen Carmichael and Bobbie Jean Corbitt Carmichael of Royston. He worked for Townsend Tree Service and was a member of Pennington Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors in addition to his parents include a brother, Adam Scott Carmichael, Royston; paternal grandparents, James and Jamie Carmichael, Manor; maternal grandmother, Geraldine Edwards, Hoboken; a number of uncles and aunts; and special friends, Megan Palmer and Jessica White.
Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, May 16, at the Pennington Chapel United Methodist Church with the Revs. Joe Peabody Jr. and Jamie Hudgins officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 18, at the New Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery in Manor, Ga.
The body is at the Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston where the family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m., Saturday, May 15. The family is at the home.

Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, is in charge of arrangements.

I would like to send my sympathy out to the Carmichael Family.. I cant believe that good family would lose such a great son. May God be with your family and you. Mrs. Carmichael, i would like to tell you that im sorry about your lost of Jamie. He will be truly missed and he is in my prayers. God Bless this family in this time of need.
