COLBERT – “Allie” Elizabeth Paul King, 81, died Saturday, May 8, 2010.

She was the daughter of the late Bennie S. Paul Sr. and Stella Cooper Paul Spiegel. She was retired from Blue Bell after 40 years of service. Mrs. King was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Eugene King; and brothers, Lanier Clinton Paul and Bennie S. Paul. Jr.

Survivors include a son, Walter King, Carlton; sister, Joyce P. Golden, Colbert; grandson, David King, Carlton; nephews, Michael Phillips, Joe Paul and Jim Paul.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 10, from the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home. Pallbearers were David King, Michael Phillips, Glen Gunter, Danny Escoe, Tony Kidd and Bobby Weaver.

Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Madison Chapel, Danielsville, was in charge of arrangements.
