JEFFERSON – George Pressley Jr., 81, died Friday, May 7, 2010.
Born in Jackson County, he was the son of the late George Pressley Sr. and Lottie Mae Childers Pressley.
Survivors include daughters, Peggy Jean Collins, Commerce, and Rebecca Ann Sweatman, Statham; son, Steve Wayne Pressley, Pendergrass; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Saturday, May 8, from the White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Norris officiating.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, was in charge of arrangements.
