SUGAR HILL – Joshua Alan “Josh” Small, 26, died suddenly at his residence Tuesday evening, May 4, 2010.
He was the son of father and stepmother, David E. and Susan Small of Jefferson and mother, Mary Ann Small and Jeff Hamil of Buford, stepfather, Michael M. Morris, Lawrenceville. Josh was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Tom and Jean Butler; and an uncle, Tom Butler Jr.
Survivors in addition to his parents include a daughter, Caylee Small, Sugar Hill; fiancée, Jessie Lutz, Sugar Hill; sisters and brothers-in-law, Shari and Tim Smith, Buford, Mary and David Carter, Dallas; brother and sister-in-law, Mikey and Ashley Morris, Lawrenceville; stepbrother and wife, Dwain and Myndi Baxter, Flowery Branch; grandparents, Frank and Betty Small, Jefferson; great aunt, Patricia Vaughn, Hartwell; lifelong friend, Tom Smith; mother of his daughter and very dear to Josh, Courtney Camp; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 8, at 11 a.m., from the chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Hamil officiating. Burial will be at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, May 7, from 1 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
A trust fund has been set up for his daughter, Caylee, at People Trust Bank in Buford.
Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, is in charge of arrangements.

I was married to Freddie Clarke many years ago, i remember Frank and Betty Small and Josh's dad and mom. I live in Lawrenceville Ga. now. So sorry to hear about this. I remember when he was born. May God bless each of you.
