NICHOLSON – James Michael “Jim” Wammock Jr., 47, died Friday, April 23, 2010.
Born in Atlanta he was the son of James Michael Wammock Sr. and Judith Jackson Wammock of Brunswick. He was self-employed as an industrial electrician. He loved playing his guitar and making music, was a computer whiz and loved riding his motorcycle. His children were his greatest joy in life, loved ones stated.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his companion, Liza Smith, Nicholson; children, Jessica Wammock, Aaron and Dylan Wammock, all of Athens; siblings, Gina Wammock, Chicago, Ill., Chris Wammock, Swainsboro, and Laurie Karagul, Brunswick; grandchild, Cayden Wammock-Keenan, Athens; and aunts and uncles, Bill and Billie Jackson, Macon, Sam and Stephanie Jackson, Donovan, Olivia and Bobby Stevens, Dublin, and Rebecca and John Rountree, Cumming; his best friend, Rodney Gallagher, Athens; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were held Monday, April 26, from the Bogart First Baptist Church cemetery.
Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, West, Bogart, was in charge of arrangements.
