MAYSVILLE – The Reverend Robert H. Scruton, 101, died Sunday, April 18, 2010, at his residence.
Born in Canada, he was a Baptist Minister and a graduate of Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, Ill. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church and past president of Dial-A-Prayer. Rev. Scruton was a veteran having served in the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Wilder Scruton, Maysville and brothers, Jim, John and Gary Scruton, all of Minneapolis, Minn.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, April 20, from Faith Baptist Church with Keith Cudd and the Revs. Tim Adams and Eric Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in Sunrise Cemetery.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
