BRASELTON – Walter D. Gaddis Jr., 72, died Sunday, April 18, 2010.
He was a lifelong resident of Jackson County and was the son of the late Walter D. Gaddis Sr. and Mary Emma Gaddis. He was a retired supervisor with General Time of Athens.
Survivors include his wife, Dianne Cronic Gaddis, Braselton; children, Susan and Mickey Whitt, Cumming, Jeff and Tammy Gaddis, Braselton; grandchildren, Randy Gaddis, Andy Gaddis, Cody Gaddis, Zackery Whitt, Salena Whitt and Nash Whitt; great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Gaddis, R.J. Gaddis and Cierra Gaddis; sisters, Katie Sue Flowers and Betty Jean Hayes, both of Braselton; and brother, Charles Ray Gaddis, Braselton.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 21, at 11 a.m., from the chapel of Carter Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Holmes officiating. Burial will be in the Braselton Church of God of Prophecy Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
