JEFFERSON – Denver Boyd Moore, 59, died Wednesday, April 14, 2010.
Born on April 20, 1950, in Jefferson, he was the son of Virginia Moore of Jefferson and the late Ernest Moore. He was the manager of Electronic Sales Company in Gainesville and was a veteran having served in the United States Navy on the USS Wainwright during the Vietnam War. He also enjoyed solo flying, saltwater fishing, motorcycle riding, working in his shop and many outdoor activities. Mr. Moore was preceded in death by a brother, Lewis Moore.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife of 36 years, Pamela June Wallace Moore, Jefferson; sisters, Linda Moore Hardigree, Atlanta, Frances Moore Balthazor, Jefferson; brothers, Wesley Moore, Randy Moore, Vinson Moore and Thomas Moore, all of Jefferson; and several nieces and nephews.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
