WINDER – Daniel “David” Howard, 59, died Monday, April 12, 2010.

Born in Fulton County he was the son of the late DL and Frances Petty Howard. He was a self-employed carpenter.

Survivors include sons, “Daniel” David Howard Jr., Athens, Davey Allen Howard, Winder; a daughter, Melanie Sirois, Hudson, N.H.; seven grandchildren; brothers, William Howard, Georgia, Buster Howard, Lawrenceville, Phillip Howard, Jefferson; and sisters, Frances Howard, Gainesville, and Kathy Howard, Jefferson.

A private service will be held on Saturday, April 17. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, April 16, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
