HOSCHTON – Robert Edwin Gartrell, 66, died Sunday, April 11, 2010.
Born on January 2, 1944, he was the son of the late Edwin and Carroll Ruth Williams Gartrell. He worked in concrete construction and was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Gay Maria Weaver Gartrell, Hoschton; children, Jeffrey Gartrell and Daffney and Chris Faulkner, all of Dahlonega; and grandchildren, Sydney Gartrell, Gus and Cal Faulkner.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 13, at 11 a.m., from the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. in the Dahlonega Memorial Cemetery in Dahlonega. The visitation will be held Monday, April 12, at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m.
