Hal Burkette Rosenberg, 72, of Royston, died Saturday, July 14, 2008, at his residence.
He was born in West Palm Beach, Fla., on January 15, 1936, the son of the late Harold and Elizabeth Burkette Rosenberg. He was a retired sales manager, having worked with Briggs & Stratton lawn mower engines. He attended the Royston First United Methodist Church and was a veteran, having served in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by a brother, Loren Frank Rosenberg; and sister, JoAnn Culpepper.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Rosenberg, Royston; a son, David Rosenberg, Royston; and two grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, July 15, at 7 p.m., in the chapel of Pruitt Funeral Home with the Rev. Mac Enfinger officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. The family is at home.
