JEFFERSON – Larry Paul Hogan, 60, died Thursday, April 8, 2010.
Born on June 29, 1949, in Jefferson, he was the son of the late Paul and Grace Phillips Hogan. He was a retired sorter with the U.S. Postal Service at the North Metro Branch and was a veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Ledford Hogan, Jefferson; daughter, Kati Hogan, Jefferson, stepchildren, Becky Lee, Suwanee, Carol and Keith Poole, Gainesville; brothers, Ricky and Sharon Hogan, Commerce, and David and Terry Hogan, Jefferson; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 10, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Mr. Jeffrey Bell officiating. Burial will be in the White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery. Honored pallbearers will be Doug Maloch, Keith Poole, Cliff Young, Shorty Hogan, Charles Boone and Darrell Hogan. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, April 9, from 6 to 9 p.m.
