MAYSVILLE – Bernard Kirk, 61, died early Tuesday morning, April 6, 2010, at his residence.

Born in West Virginia, he was the son of the late Melvin and Willie May Kirk. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Faye Kirk, Maysville; children, Donna Jane (Rob) Lee, Gary Joseph Kirk; stepchildren, Michael Presley, Joann (Michael) Conner, Jody (Angie) Presley, Christopher “Scott” Presley and fiancé, Ashley Huff, Linda (Dale) Presley; 20 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings, Carrie Skinner, James (Theresa) Kirk, Bill (Deborah) Kirk, Patsy (Don) Richardson; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 7, from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Pastor Phil Williams officiating. Burial was in the Dry Pond Methodist Church Cemetery.

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
