BUFORD – Thomas Hewlett “Tom” Bailey, 46, died Monday, April 5, 2010, while on vacation in Cozumel.
Born on April 18, 1963, in Clarke County, he was the son of Betty Aderholt Bailey of Jefferson and the late Robert M. Bailey. He was a sales representative with the Jefferson Motor Company, a member of the Lawrenceville First Baptist Church and the Jefferson Rotary Club.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Leigh Floyd Bailey, Buford; sons, Trevor Giese and Carter Giese, both of Buford; brothers, Bob Bailey, Lawrenceville, and Jimmy Bailey, Jefferson; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 11, at 2 p.m., from the Jefferson First Baptist Church with Pastor Inman Houston and Michael Helms officiating. Burial will be at the Woodbine Cemetery with Ralph Martin, Joe Martin, Ken Martin, Jack Crowder, Clanton Black and Johnny Simonton honored as pallbearers. The visitation will be held Saturday, April 10, at the funeral home from 3 to 5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lawrenceville First Baptist Church Building Fund, 165 Clayton St., SE, Lawrenceville, GA 30045.
