Dorothy Fox

MONROE – Dorothy L. Fox, 78, died Friday, March 19, 2010.

She was born on February 10, 1932, in Jasper, and was the daughter of the late Howard and Laura Stone Moss. Mrs. Fox was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Johnnie Fox.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Terry Blaylock and Geraldine and Michael Hodges, all of Nicholson, Sandra Jenkins, Madison, Linda and Bo McDaniel, Walnut Grove, Glenda and Randy Moore, Gray; sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby and Evelyn Fox, Madison, David and Charlotte Fox and Danny Fox, all of Monroe; sisters, Lillian Bunch and Ozel Silvers, both of Jasper, Helen Tillery, Snellville, June Thompson, Bostwick; brothers, Doug Moss and Randall Moss, both of Bostwick, Roy Moss, Griffin; 17 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 23, in the chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Powers officiating. Burial was at Hill Haven Cemetery.

Meadows Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
