Billie Lois “Peggy” Conyer, 81, died Wednesday, March 31, 2010.
Born on August 4, 1929, in Weaverville, N.C., she was the daughter of the late William D. and Glenn Robinson Scoggins and had lived in Danielsville for the last 25 years. She retired from Michigan Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan with over 23 years of service. She was a member of the Weaverville Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Pam Stopczynski, Louisville, Ky.; son and daughter-in-law, Erik and Michele Conyer, Canton; brothers, John Scoggins, Danielsville, and Edward Scoggins, College Park; grandchildren, Jason Stopczynski, Michigan, Lauren Coile, Louisvile, Ky., and Emily Conyer, Canton; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 3, at 11 a.m., from the Lord & Stephens Madison Chapel with the Rev. Calvin Wood officiating. Burial will be in Danielsville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, April 2, from 6 to 8 p.m.
