ATHENS – Sara Dell Carter, 79, died Wednesday, March 31, 2010.
She was the daughter of the late Dellmar and Eddie Kelley Dillard. She was a lunchroom manager for Clarke County Board of Education and was preceded in death by her husband, Emory Carter.
Survivors include daughters, Diane Gilbert, Callahan, Fla., and Dreta Hayden, Nicholson; son, Dana Carter, Athens; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A private service will be held at a later date.
