‘Bob’ Tiller

ELBERTON – Robert Lewis “Bob” Tiller, 74, of Spring Valley Healthcare Center, died Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at Elbert Memorial Hospital.

Born on March 11, 1936, in Oglethorpe County, he was the son of the late James Dorsey and Martha Grace Tiller. He was the owner/operator of Tiller Trucking Company. He was a veteran having served in the United States Army. Mr. Tiller was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lucille Tiller Lee.

Survivors include daughters, Debra Ramsey, Diana Leigh Turner and Robbie Ashley Tiller; a son, Robert Chase Tiller; and several other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 1, at 4 p.m., in Forest Hills Memorial Park with the Rev. Jack McVeigh officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 1, from 4 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
