ELBERTON - Reuben Ben Kelley, 66, died on Monday, March 29, 2010, at the home of Scott and Melissa Smith.
Born on September 24, 1943, in Madison County, he was the son of the late Bunyan Monroe and Flora Essie Kelley. He was retired as a machinist with Wilson Electric. Mr. Kelley served in the United States Navy.
Survivors include daughters, Mary Hope Smith and Kimberly Denise Kelley; sons, Reuben Lee Kelley and Vincent Brian Kelley; stepdaughter, Melissa Smith; sister, Brenda Faye Damron; brother, Dewey Rose Kelley; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; and several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 2, at 3 p.m., from the chapel of Hicks Funeral Home. The family is at the home, 286 Highland Drive, and will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 1, at Hicks Funeral Home.
Hicks Funeral Home, Elberton, is in charge of arrangement.
