Ronnie Gee

GAINESVILLE – Ronnie Clyde Gee, 59, died Sunday, March 28, 2010.

Born in Athens, he was the son of the late Wendell H. and Gwendolyn Jenny Elrod Gee. He was an insurance salesman with the Best Insurance Center in Jefferson, was a member of the Pendergrass Baptist Church, and a member of the United States Parachute Association. Mr. Gee was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Gillespie Gee; brother, Randall H. Gee; and sister-in-law, Brenda Faye Gee.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie “Rowdy” Clyde Gee II and Jennifer Gee, Dalton, Ricky and Lacretia Gee, Commerce; sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Gary Watson, Jefferson; brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Susan Gee, Carnesville; grandchildren, Carter, Kendall and Caroline Gee; Cameron, Caleb and Jude Gee; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 31, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Elrod officiating. Burial will be in Grey Hill Cemetery in Commerce. Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan Gee, Shawn Watson, Reid Gee, Casey Elrod, Jerry Hanley and Wayne Pinnix.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 30, at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m.
