COMMERCE – Mildred Tucker Watson, 92, has gone to her eternal home to be with her Lord, her husband Charles, and son, Billy.
She was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Commerce and was retired from Commerce Manufacturing Company.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Edwin and Elaine Watson, Commerce; daughters and sons-in-law, Gail and Pete Allen, Danielsville, and Carol and Jimmy Drake, Ila; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Watson, Lilburn; sisters, Edna Johnson, Eloise Tucker and Sybil Simpkins, all of Commerce; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 31, at 11 a.m., from the First Baptist Church of Commerce with Carlton Allen and the Rev. Billy Owensby officiating. Burial will be in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, March 30, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Mrs. Watson had requested in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Commerce, 1345 South Elm St., Commerce, GA 30529.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
