Nyoka V. Garmon, 47, of Statham, died Friday, July 11, 2008.
She was born in Barrow County, the daughter of Douglas J. Tate of Statham and the late Mary Alice Thurmond Tate. She was a bank teller and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mrs. Garmon held a great love for animals and flowers, loved ones stated.
Survivors in addition to her father, include her husband, Gregory Garmon, Auburn.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 16, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Healan officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Statham. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.
