JEFFERSON – Hallie Lois Matthews, 90, died Friday, March 12, 2010, at Hill Haven Nursing Home.

Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Homer Milton and Lillie Mae Greene Matthews. She was a member of the Antioch United Methodist Church and was a homemaker.

Survivors include a granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Michelle and Sammy Looney, Jefferson; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Donald and Eileen Hazlegrove, Cincinnati, Ohio; brother, Jim Matthews, Nicholson; sisters, Opal Fields, Ila, and Vera Jackson, Commerce; great-grandchildren, Holleigh and Hunter Looney and Laura, Caitlin, Wesley and Nicole McDonald.

Funeral services were held Sunday, March 14, from the Antioch United Methodist Church with the Revs. Nancy Boorman, Donald Hazlegrove and Don Clark officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
