I am very sorry for your loss, death is something that is very hard to deal with. It is something that now has victory over all humankind. However, there will be time when we can say, as mentioned at 1 Corinthians 15:55- "Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting?" Yes, as vs. 57 continues-"But thanks to God, for he gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!" Yes, we look forward to a time when "As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing." A time when death will no longer have it's victory over us. (1 Corinthians 15:26) I hope this proves to be some comfort to your family in your time of need.

Mrs. Powell was my third grade teacher and was a real jewel. I'm sad to hear of her passing.
