DANIELSVILLE – Marjorie Lord, 62, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010.
A native of Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late William Dorsey and Willie Jo Chandler Lord. She was formerly employed with Westinghouse and the University of Georgia and was a member of Providence Baptist Church. Mrs. Lord was preceded in death by a sister, Trudie Collins.
Survivors include brothers, Roderick (Lane) Lord and Chris (Brenda) Lord; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 11, at 2 p.m. from the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Albert Vaughn officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, March 11, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
