BETHLEHEM – Vera Dean Treadwell, 94, died Monday, March 8, 2010.
Born in Barrow County, she was the daughter of the late Homer L. and Omie Pearl McElhannon Treadwell. She was a member of the Bethlehem First Baptist Church and was retired from the Barrow Manufacturing Company after 58 years.
Survivors include a sister, Margie Williams, Winder; and a niece, Janice Thompson, Queenstown, Md.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 10, at 2 p.m. from Smith Memory Chapel with the Rev. Mike Peavy officiating. Burial will be in the Barrow Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, March 9, from 5 to 8 p.m.
