MAYSVILLE – Kathy Elaine Jones, 48, died Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.
Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of Lelia Redmon of Maysville and the late Richard Redmon.
Survivors in addition to her mother include her husband, Todd Jones, Maysville; a son, Cole Jones, Maysville; sisters, Debra Gaines, Vicky Snipes, and Tracey Anderson, all of Commerce, Linda Evans, Maysville, Barbara Thomas, Hull, Pat Chatham, Jefferson; brothers, Donald Redmon, Commerce, Rickey Redmon and Mitchell Redmon, both of Maysville, and Ronnie Redmon, Lula.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 6, at 1 p.m., from the Mt. View Baptist Church with the Rev. Jamie Harvey officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, March 5, from 6 to 9 p.m. The body will lie in state at the church for 30 minutes prior to the service.
