PENDERGRASS – Ramona Dobbs Barber, 54, died Wednesday, March 3, 2010.
Born on February 6, 1956, in Macon, she was the daughter of the late Thomas William and Imogene Kennedy Dobbs. She was a registered nurse, a graduate of Mercer University and the Georgia Baptist School of Nursing. Mrs. Barber was preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Thomas Dobbs.
Survivors include a sister, Rebecca Carpenter, Macon; friend and companion, James Barber, Pendergrass; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, March 7, at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 7015 Rivoli Rd., Macon, GA 31210.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorials to a charity of one’s choice.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.
