BRASELTON – Lovie Mae Holder, 87, died Wednesday, March 3, 2010.
Born in Milstead, she was the daughter of the late Owen and Lovie Aaron Collins. She was a homemaker and a member of the Braselton Church of God of Prophecy. Mrs. Holder was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt Holder; and a grandson, Terry Butler.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Clyde Butler and Janie and Larry Richardson, all of Braselton, Kathy and Randyl Simmons, Jefferson, Cindy and Ray Cone, Flowery Branch; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 5, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Revs. David Smith and Thomas Holmes officiating. Burial will be in the Braselton Church of God of Prophecy cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Travis Butler, Ashley Simmons, John Hoyt Richardson, Joshua Cone, Kenneth Hulsey and Jon Smith. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, March 4, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
