MACON – Corrine L. Kitchens, 82, died Saturday, February 27, 2010.
Born on October 14, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Dee H. and Bernice V. Luther. She was a graduate of Mercer University School of Pharmacy and was a founder of Crawford W. Long Pharmacy in Jefferson. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Washington.
Survivors include a daughter, Jena K. Hart, Washington; son, Melvin E. Kitchens, Washington; granddaughter, Leigh (Mike) Occhipinti, Gainesville; grandson, Mark (Angie) Kitchens, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Samantha Kitchens, Ohio; brother, Aubrey (Anita) Luther, Macon; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 4, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Sharpston officiating.. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
